Services & Information Student Affairs image

The Accommodation/Welfare Secretary who is based in the Student Services Office between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm will provide you with information about accommodation. The Accommodation Booklet contains guidance on all aspects of student accommodation.

Since St Mary’s University College is closely linked to the communities particularly in both West and South Belfast, the College takes its responsibilities to these local communities very seriously. Students are therefore requested not to be involved in any behaviour which offends local residents or brings the name of the College into disrepute. Any student who through any form of anti-social behaviour brings the name of the College into disrepute will be dealt with under the College Code of Disciplinary Procedure.

Students must keep the Student Services secretaries or the Accommodation/Welfare Secretary informed of any change in home or term-time address and/or telephone number. Up to date records are vital in an emergency situation and for examination purposes.

Students are strongly advised to have all their belongings insured. Advice regarding insurance is available from the Students’ Union Office or from Student Services.
