St Mary's University College welcomed principals of Irish-medium schools, advisors from the Primary Professional Development Service and Irish-medium advisors from the Education and Library Boards to a presentation in the college on Thursday 4 March 2010.
The principals and advisors were on a cross-border visit to observe developments in the Irish-medium sector in the north of Ireland. Many commented on the high-quality resources created by the Áisaonad Lán-Ghaeilge at St Mary's and on the college’s innovative bilingual initial teacher education programme and research developments which inform learning and teaching in the Irish-medium sector.
