Where is the Students' Union?
The Students’ Union is all about you. It includes a Snack Bar, Common Rooms, Games Room and the Union Office. Feel free to drop in at any time for a chat: our door is always open.
Who runs the Students' Union?
The Students’ Union is run by a body known as the Students’ Union Executive. This is made up of two full-time sabbatical officers, the President and Deputy-President, who are paid salaries from the Students’ Union budget. There are also nine non-sabbatical officers, who are also in full-time education in the college.
The Students’ Union has an excellent working relationship with College staff, and the Coordinator for Student Guidance and Support regularly works with the President and Deputy-President. The College also provides the Students’ Union with a budget of £50,000 for the academic year.
Student Services Co-ordinator
Deirdre Cree and Ruairi Wilson work closely with the Students’ Union to ensure the needs of every student are catered for. They are very approachable and always available to help no matter how big or small you think your problem may be.
