Applicants are asked to forward grades received from examination authorities (other than CCEA*) to St Mary’s as soon as they are received and to arrive no later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 22nd August 2022.
* The College receives GCE A level results directly from CCEA and there is no need to forward these.
Leaving Certificate candidates must supply their notification of results by Tuesday 6th September 2022.
Please email a photograph or scanned copy of results so that applications can be considered further. Results must be presented on an official document either from the examination authority or from a school. A telephone call or hand-written note is not sufficient.
Documents should be emailed to admissions@smucb.ac.uk.
Please ensure that results are legible (original documents will be required in the event of an offer being made).
From Friday, 19th August 2022 at 2.00 p.m., you can check decisions processed to date and whether we have received and verified the results sent through by using the Application Status Page.
We will process results as quickly as possible. Please note that the College will email applicants when they become eligible for an offer. A letter of confirmation will also be posted with terms and conditions. Offers must be accepted using the on-line system.
For applicants whose pending results are exclusively GCE A levels with CCEA, decisions may be released at 4pm on Thursday, 18th August 2022. If you receive an email at this time, you will be able to accept the offer using the online system immediately.
Please note that GCSE results will also need to be confirmed. Further details will be included in the offer letter.
Applicants who have not met the entry requirements will be notified through the on-line application system. The course will be marked as unsuccessful.
The guidelines for applicants on the decision-making process in August will be updated each year. Full information concerning September 2022 entry is available here.
