The launch of the Unissued Diplomas Exhibition took place in the Cardinal Newman Library at St Mary’s with guest speakers Professor Nataliia Tikhonova from Kyiv Technical University and Oleg Shankaruk, Chair of the Ukrainians in Northern Ireland Community Group. The Exhibition is part of an international campaign to commemorate students who have been killed in the war –  www.unissueddiplomas.org. Over 100 Higher Education Institutions in 24 countries have hosted the Exhibition, which will run in St Mary’s from 22-26 April.

Also speaking at the launch Professor Gerard McCann, Principal Lecturer at the College, highlighted partnerships and initiatives that the College has with institutions in Lviv, Lutsk and Kyiv. Elaine Mulholland, Head Librarian, closed the proceedings by thanking the Ukrainian guests.
