Belmont University, Nashville Visitors

St Mary’s welcomed a delegation of faculty and staff from Belmont University, Nashville, who heard about the positive transformation taking place in West Belfast as the result of the Good Friday (Belfast) Agreement. They were given an overview of how the conflict affected the local community, and how community-led initiatives such as Féile an Phobail have become the backdrop to a renewed vibrancy for post-conflict regeneration.

Dr Eduardo Lopez from the Massey College of Business, Belmont University met with Prof. Gerard McCann and John Brolly to explore opportunities for Belmont students to take part in St Mary’s International Summer School.
