Research-Informed Teaching
Each of the educational programmes at St Mary’s involves research-informed teaching. This is a term used to describe the different ways in which students are exposed to research content, activity and impact. The approach provides them with high level learning experiences and develops critical thinking skills. You can view the most recent report and also consider examples of 3rd practice.
The College produces regular reports to demonstrate the added value of research-informed teaching. The reports contain core studies that outline how research, consulted and conducted, shapes high level thinking and enhances students’ learning.
