Congratulations to Cliona Power
Cliona Power is a second year undergraduate student of teacher education at St Mary’s University College, Belfast. She has just returned from a three-month study placement at the University of Seville in Spain, and will soon be travelling to Washington DC, USA, to further develop her international experience.
Cliona, a past pupil of St Catherine’s College in Armagh, has been selected to participate in the highly prestigious Washington Ireland Programme for Service and Leadership. College Principal, Professor Peter Finn KSG, said “At St Mary’s we believe that international student mobility enhances teacher education immeasurably and we work hard to facilitate it for as many of our students as possible”.
