St Mary’s University College was delighted to welcome a delegation of Danish educators, including Margit Nordskov Nielsen (Editor, Anglo Files), to campus.

The visit included a welcome from Principal, Professor Peter Finn, who highlighted the College’s distinctive mission, including its leadership in Irish-medium education, commitment to widening participation, community engagement and growing international outlook.

Discussions with colleagues from An tÁisaonad Lán-Ghaeilge focused on the revival of Irish-medium education, exploring recent progress and ongoing challenges. The delegation also enjoyed a tour of campus, showcasing our key facilities and the vibrant learning environment at St Mary’s.

We look forward to contributing to a future edition of Anglo Files and to building ongoing collaboration and knowledge exchange with our Danish partners.
