The College Library – The Cardinal Newman Library is currently hosting an exhibition dedicated to the life of the Scottish merchant Robert Porteous.

As part of a touring exhibition, the pictorial and talks were supported in a partnership between/with St Mary’s, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Porteous Association in Krosno and the Polish Consulate.

The exhibition was launched by the Dean of Humanities, Dr Władysław Witalisz, Jagiellonian University. St Mary’s has a long-standing relationship with the city of Krosno and its University College, Państwowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Krośnie.

The exhibition will move from the College to the USA where it will be staged in other universities that have links to the Polish City and University.
