Sudanese Community Student Exam Awards
The College was privileged to host the Sudanese Community’s 2024 Student Exam Awards’ Ceremony.
Students, families, tutors and dignitaries from Northern Ireland’s Sudanese community gathered to celebrate the success of A-Level and GCSE students as they progressed into the next stage of their education. Over 150 people were invited to the event which included certificates of completion being awarded to all 35 students.
Speeches were given by NHS Consultant Dr Manal Mahdi who represents the community in Northern Ireland and Prof Gerard McCann, the College’s International Coordinator. The event was organised by the Sudanese Youth Group NI, the Sudanese Women’s Association, HAPANI and the College’s Principal’s Office.
