Important Notice
Expressions of interest are welcome to undertake a programme of study leading to the award of a PG Cert in Enabling Educational Skills Development.
The programme will start in late September 2025. There are 60 free places for the programme which would otherwise have a fee of £2,434.
1. | Skill Up Northern Ireland is an initiative from The Department of the Economy, in cooperation with the Northern Ireland Office and the Department of Finance, offering funded courses to individuals in Northern Ireland who want to skill up, upskill, or reskill. |
2. | The PG Cert Enabling Educational Skills Development comprises two modules chosen from a menu of options. |
3. | Students will study part-time over a period of nine months and take one module in each semester. Semester 1 starts September 2025, whilst semester 2 starts in January 2026. |
4. | To be eligible for a fully funded place you must meet all of the following criteria: |
• Applicants to be 18 years or older at point of enrolment. • Applicants must have a right to work and undertake training in the UK at the point of application and for the durations of the course and must not be disqualified from doing either by reason of their immigration status. Proof of this will be required to progress application.
