Féile 2026 Launch

On Wednesday 24 June, St Mary's hosted the 2026 launch of Féile an Phobail. A number of events will run in association with St Mary's University College as we celebrate 125 years in the Community and a proud supporter of Féile.

St Mary’s University College hosted the 16th Annual INTO Vere Foster Lecture. The event was opened by INTO Northern Committee Chair Marty Lavery, who introduced Professor Peter Finn KSG, Principal of St Mary’s as the keynote speaker.

International Summer School

Students and faculty from seven universities across the United States took part in the St Mary’s International Summer School, experiencing Belfast during the historic Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026. Coinciding with the city’s first hosting of the world’s largest celebration of Irish traditional music and culture, the programme offered participants a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Belfast’s vibrant cultural life.

Value in Volunteering Celebration Event

Kenyan Ambassadorial Visit

In a historic first for the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, the Kenyan High Commissioner to the UK, Amb Maurice Makoloo, and the Kenyan Ambassador to Ireland, Amb George Orina, met in St Mary’s University College to discuss consular issues related to Kenyan citizens residing in these justifications.
