We offer an excellent benefits package which contains many features that are hard to find within the private sector:

  • Participation within a defined salary pension scheme: support staff can apply to the Local Government Pension Scheme (NI), a defined benefit and contributory pension scheme with an employer’s contribution rate currently 19%. Academic staff can apply to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (NI) with an employer’s contribution rate currently 25.1%; 
  • Generous leave allowances: staff in grades 1-8 are entitled to 25 days leave per year and staff in grades 9-11 (including teaching staff) are entitled to 35 days holiday per year;
