Eritrean Coptic Church visit to St Mary's
The College was pleased to welcome Fr Hyab, representing the Eritrean Coptic Church in Belfast. He met members of staff and students to discuss ongoing initiatives between the Eritrean community and St Mary’s. He used the opportunity to join the delegation from Queen’s Chaplaincy which was in the College for the day (pictured) – the Chaplaincy being the hub for many of the Coptic community’s various events. He also met with Prof Gerard McCann, International Coordinator, to look at the opportunities available for Eritrean young people from the University of Sanctury project.

Education Development in Ukraine

Together with five university partners from Ukraine, Poland and the USA, the College has entered into a consortium agreement to formally establish the ‘Education Development in Ukraine – in War and Peace’ (EDUWAP) project.

St Mary's students are invited to apply to part of the cohort of 50-60 students from Northern Ireland to participate in the Study USA programme and spend a full academic year at a US college or university.
