Eritrean Coptic Church visit to St Mary's
The College was pleased to welcome Fr Hyab, representing the Eritrean Coptic Church in Belfast. He met members of staff and students to discuss ongoing initiatives between the Eritrean community and St Mary’s. He used the opportunity to join the delegation from Queen’s Chaplaincy which was in the College for the day (pictured) – the Chaplaincy being the hub for many of the Coptic community’s various events. He also met with Prof Gerard McCann, International Coordinator, to look at the opportunities available for Eritrean young people from the University of Sanctuary project.
