St Mary’s & Stranmillis PGCE students took part in a paediatric first aid course to ensure that they have a foundation of the necessary lifesaving skills when they enter the classroom as teachers.
Students found this a very enjoyable way to get to know one another. They engaged in practical group activities, asked searching questions and commented on their new skills as teachers of nursery and primary school children.
