Conversations with Rev Ashraf
Thank you to Rev. Ashraf Tannous who delivered an insightful talk on the Palestinian Christian perspective on the current crisis in the Holy Land.
Rev. Ashraf was born in Jerusalem, raised in Ramallah and spoke passionately about the hopes he has for his country and children.
He attended a School of Hope K-12, a ministry of the Lutheran Church where Christian and Muslim students study together guided by the values of tolerance, peacebuilding and understanding.
He has studied in Lebanon, Germany and Switzerland and in June 2025 he was installed in Christmas Lutheran church in Bethlehem.
Rev Ashraf is married and has 3 sons and is presently working towards a doctorate of Ministry from the United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, which he hopes to complete in 2026.
