International Students at St John the Baptist
International students from Zurich, Seville and Antwerp who are studying at St Mary’s have spent most of the semester undertaking their school placement at St John the Baptist Primary in West Belfast. Prianka Leoncius, Bettina Burtscher, Elena de la Portilla Leon and Tess Michielsen (pictured) felt very welcome as a part of the school community whilst there. They took the opportunity to teach the children not only German, Flemish and Spanish, but also Flamenco dancing. The school’s Principal, Chris Donnelly, fed back to the College that it was a delight to have the International Students working with his staff and pupils throughout the term.
